If behavior is off, learning is off.
The first thing we will focus on in my class is behavior expectations. First, we need to get to know one another. Then, we will work out a plan to make the class run in a peaceful and cooperative manner. I believe in positively motivating students by making it clear what they should do rather than what they should not do. |
C.H.A.M.P.S.Clear Expectations
Students are given set expectations for each activity that we do in class. This is laid out for them through C.H.A.M.P.S. C: Communication or sound level expected H: Raising a hand to speak A: Activity or engagement expected M: No movement without permission P: Participation expected S: Success! |

Keep all hands, feet, and objects to yourself. 4. Follow adult directions in 3 seconds or less. 5. Food, drinks, and electronics should be put closed, put away, and not visible. |
